Get ready for a big weekend of basketball on the northside.

The Winston Churchill Invitational Tournament is back for the 12th year, as the Bulldogs are set to hit the court Friday at noon against Memorial Composite. A win in that game would send the Bulldogs into the Saturday semifinal, where WCHS would take on the winner of the Friday 1:45 p.m. game that features Chinook High School and Chestermere.

Other Friday games will see William Aberhart and Cochrane at 3:30 p.m. and Strathcona Christian and Robert Thirsk at 5:15 p.m.

Saturday’s other semifinal goes at 12:30 p.m., while the championship will be determined at 7:30 p.m.

The consolation semifinals will be played Saturday at 9 a.m. and 10: 45 a.m. The consolation final is set for 4 p.m.

Third place will be determined Saturday at 5:45 p.m., while the seventh-place game will take place at 2:15 p.m.
