District student-athletes well represented among SAHSFL all-stars

Monday night, the Southern Alberta High School Football League announced its award winners, which included a number of Lethbridge School District No. 51 student-athletes.

In Division A, LCI’s John Evans was named the league’s most outstanding quarterback.

At the runningback position, Nolan DeLauw of Winston Churchill was named a league all-star.

For receivers, Derek McNabb of LCI was an all-star, while his Rams teammate Kalin Betts was an all-star offensive lineman.

LCI’s John Evans was also named an all-star at defensive back, while his Rams teammate Evan Snedden earned an all-star nod at linebacker.

On the defensive line Isaiah Bagnah of LCI was an all-star.

Division B all-stars included Chinook’s Cole Deighton (kicker), Chase Kehler (runningback and defensive back), Connor Lozza (receiver), Brandon Thompson (offensive line), Parker Daub (linebacker) and Carter Watt (defensive line). Deighton was also named the division’s most outstanding kicker.
