A Living Wax Museum – 150 Years of Canadian History at Agnes Davidson
Throughout Canada’s 150-year history, a number of important cultural figures have emerged.
Earlier this week, Grade 5 students at Ecole Agnes Davidson Elementary School explored the lives of many important Canadians through a unique history project.
On Wednesday, students immersed themselves in history as they presented A Living Wax Museum – 150 Years of Canadian History.
Students played the role of wax figures, as they dressed as important figures in Canadian history. Throughout the process, the Grade 5s discovered the important elements of biographies, including why their subject was important, what their life was like and what influences their subject had on the country and the world.
