Technology Evergreening

A six year evergreening cycle is defined in the Technology Vision White Paper.  Starting in August 2009 and ending in December 2009, core technologies in middle schools and high schools were updated.  These technologies include classroom and administrative personal computers, ultramobile laptops, file servers, laser printers, and switches.  In addition, a core set of productivity software is included to meet the curricular outcomes.  A number of newer personal computers and laptops will be re-designated from our middle schools and high schools to our elementary schools.

In the fall of 2012, elementary school technologies including classroom and administrative personal computers, laptops, file servers, laser printers and switches were upgraded.
